Audra Bake, O.D., NECO
Dr. Bake is a TPA Certified Optometrist indicating that she is fully licensed and can prescribe therapeutic pharmaceutical agents.
Her optometric interests include primary eye care, contact lenses, and medical optometry. In addition to practicing in Medford she currently works as an adjunct clinical instructor for the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences. She is a Member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometry and the American Optometric Association.
Dr. Bake is a Massachusetts native and attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst and received a bachelor of science degree in Microbiology. She received her Doctorate of Optometry degree in 2008 from the New England College of Optometry in Boston Massachusetts. After earning her Optometric degree Dr. Bake completed a Residency in Primary Eye Care and Ocular disease at the Veteran Affairs Hospital in Boston.
During her residency training Dr. Bake worked with many prestigious institutions around Massachusetts including Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston and Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Ophthalmology department.
When not working Dr. Bake enjoys traveling, skiing and yoga. She is also an animal lover and enjoys hiking with her two dogs.
